The Mill of Tourne has the pleasure to welcome you on its site to be discovered the history of the paper since its origin, the various stages of manufacturing of the rag paper made sheet for sheet in the hand according to the traditions of the fourteenth century, the evolution of the sytems of printing office since Gutemberg until our days and to expose you our production which you can right now see in our shop on this website.

Take advantage of a visit realized by the very paper-maker who will make for you the demonstration, accompanied with a guide interprets who will know how to translate you all the explanations of the craftsman and answer your questions on this ancestral know-how.

An unforgettable visit and a lesson of alive History in the heart of Savoy in a protected natural environment.

The mill welcomes for this service (approximately 1h45) between 25 and 45 persons by group.

Rates:

Entered for the visit: 8 euro by adult for the groups from 25 to 35 persons

Entered for the visit: 10 euro by adults for the groups from 36 to 45 persons

Conducted tour for the groups, every day, all year long, by appointment only!
